Solar Panel Working Principle

The solar panel works on the principle of using photovoltaic cells, which convert sunlight into electricity. Solar panels require a suitable location with adequate sunlight, which can be a challenge in areas with frequent cloud cover or shading. This is always suitable for higher areas or on roofs to adjust the panel.

Energy Storage

It generates energy during the day, but energy storage solutions are needed to provide power during the night or on cloudy days. When sunlight is not present due to clouds or nighttime, power batteries are used for the solution of the problem.

Land Requirements

Large-scale solar farms require significant land areas, potentially conflicting with agricultural or conservation uses. It is always used in an open area with adequate sunlight or on the roof of the top floor.

It requires regular cleaning and occasional repair, adding to its overall cost. This can cost less with respect to electricity from any company. Because the production charges are high, the benefits of production will be borne by the individual.

The panels have efficiency limits, converting only a portion of sunlight into electricity. These are profitable electricity sources for individuals and the environment.

However, till now there is no policy to waste it because it falls under hazardous waste, like electronic waste. According to a survey, after 2030 we will have solar panels everywhere as waste; until now there is no scientific procedure to waste or recycle them.

Aesthetics

Some individuals may regard it visually unappealing, potentially impacting property values. However, they might not be the best way, because according to research, solar panels are beneficial for power generation, but they might affect nature due to the absence of a waste disposal procedure.

Grid Integration & Solar Panel Working Principle

The panels can have variable output, requiring specialized grid management systems to ensure a stable and reliable energy supply. To convert DC to AC, some converters are required, while others can convert AC to DC.

Despite these drawbacks, panels offer many benefits, including renewable energy generation, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, and energy independence. It provides electrical energy without any cost, except the initial cost of buying the panels and other accessories. Some drawbacks of the government paying tax on those who have power generation through sunlight, with power above 12 kilowatts. The power producer through solar panels above 12 kW should pay tax per kilowatt to the government. I think this policy will hinder environmental protection and sustainability. The solar panels’ power generation is the easiest and at a good level up to now for the environment and also for climate change.

    Solar is renewable energy source it is beneficial for environment but it’s waste when non useable results environmental pollution, however its disposal procedure is still not present.
